We have established relationships with several local distributors through whom your products can reach millions of customers. WASABIZ uniquely removes the language barrier in relating with local distributors and retailers.

Whilst people in some countries say ‘the high street is dead’ and all sales have moved online, this couldn’t be further from the truth in Japan. Local retail stores are still a booming business opportunity, partly thanks to each major train station in Japan having at least one department store attached to it.

More than 3.5 million passengers pass through Shinjuku station in Tokyo per day. With three major department stores directly attached to the station (LUMINE, Odakyu and Takashimaya) there is a viable chance for millions of potential customers to be seeing your product daily, naturally increasing your brand awareness.

At WASABIZ, our expansive skillset goes beyond e-commerce sales, as we also have connections with local distributors for physically selling your product in retail stores. Distributing to local retailers is notoriously difficult for companies outside of Japan, due to Japanese partners being very careful with who they work with and the process requiring a lot of complex Japanese-language-only documents.

The WASABIZ service capacity includes dealing with this for you and recommending your products directly to our network of local distributors and retail stores.
